Red Squirrels study World War 2
Mar 29, 2019
The pupils from Miss Hogarth's Red Squirrel Class enjoyed a day of wartime songs, cooking and games as they looked at how life was back in 1939-45. All the children became evacuees and left the city for safety in the countryside. The children took shelter when they heard the air raid siren and played hopscotch on the playground with chalked hopscotch grids. They also played with hoops and studied what actually happened at the beginning and end of the war. Look at the photos here for more information.
