School Clubs

 
RotaKids
Mr Forth from the Rotary Club of Longtown and Brampton meets with Mr Ashton and the Year 6 Rotakids every Thursday lunchtime. We have a very productive working lunch.
 

Music

Guitars
Mr Draper teaches guitars every Tuesday morning.
Keyboard/piano
Mrs Trenell teaches keyboard/piano lessons every Monday and Tuesday
Woodwind and Brass
Mr Hemingway comes in to school to school every Wednesday to take recorder, woodwind and brass lessons. 
 

Sports Clubs

 
We have a variety of clubs for sporting activities.
 
Gymnastics
Evie from GLL will run the Gymnastics Club after school on a Monday.
Running
Mr Ashton takes the pupils running on a Monday lunchtime.
Football
Each Wednesday lunchtime we have Y1, 2 and 3 football and Y4, 5 and 6 football training. There is a girls' football training session on Tuesday after school.  
Dance
Miss Cogan and Miss Marsh run the Dance Club after school on Wednesdays.
Multi Sports
Evie from GLL will run this on Thursday after school.
 

Other Clubs

 
There are many other clubs on offer at WBS. We have two choirs - a performance choir and a Makaton Choir. There is our after school Gardening Club who help grow our wonderful vegetables in the polytunnel. We also have an Art Club and an Indoor Games Club. And students can also take part in a Computer Club and Library Club at lunchtimes during the week.
